WhatsApp to add more privacy to audio messages

WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to send audio messages that can only be played once, according to app-tracking website WaBetaInfo. The feature, which is still under development and will be available in a future update, will add an extra layer of privacy to audio messages sent on the platform. The messages will not be savable, recordable, or forwardable once played, making it more difficult for others to access the voice note later. This feature could be particularly useful for users who need to communicate sensitive or confidential information through the messaging app.
