All members of the royal family are preparing for a big gathering over the bank holiday weekend to celebrate their first Easter without Queen Elizabeth II.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward believes the entire family will be in attendance - apart from the Sussexes who live in the US - and says it will be an opportunity for them to meet before the coronation.
The royal family usually sticks to tradition when they gather for a seafood dinner on Good Friday. On Sundays, they go to St George's Chapel for a service before returning for a four-course roast. But according to Seward, Britain's new king could relax a rule imposed by the late queen.Kate Middleton would step up her new role at the royal Easter dinner as King Charles III is expected to relax his strict rules at the table, a royal expert has said. When having dinner together, but not for young children, they eat in the kindergarten dining room.” The expert told The Sun.
He added: "The Queen always said they couldn't eat at the table until they could hold a knife and fork properly, but Charles could have relaxed that rule a bit." The royal biographer also claimed that the Princess of Wales would get a new job at the annual royal Easter lunch and said Kate would be involved in organizing some activities for the children.
“Kate is a great organizer and will almost certainly organize an Easter egg hunt. You can also go to the Royal Stables and see the horses there, and there's an indoor pool and ponies to ride," Seward said.
